The project is to analyse legal regulation and official policy regarding recent ('new') immigrants in Estonia. It will be done with due consideration of relevant experiences of Latvia and Lithuania. The results of the study distributed among various actors including Estonian local and national authorities will be a solid basis for public debates (also at the international conference). The recommendations improving existing Estonian programmes and legislation will be drafted, discussed and distributed as well.
