Projects
LICHR activities are funded by various concrete projects.
At the moment the most important LICHR ongoing projects are:
1. ENAR-Estonia coordination (donor: the European Commission through the European Network against Racism);
2. Estonian National focal point of the RAXEN network of the FRA (agency of the EU);
3. Addressing the problems of ‘new immigrants’ in Estonia and in the Baltic States (January 2009 - February 2010). Project is supported by the Network of European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation within the European Programme for Integration and Migration (EPIM).
Project seeks to improve significantly the observation of fundamental rights of recent or new immigrants (including right of non-discrimination) in all three Baltic States and to guarantee their better integration in host societies. LICHR partners in this project are the Centre of Ethnic Studies of the Institute for Social Research (Lithuania) and the association Afrolat (Latvia).
